Cecilia Velázquez

Researcher

Cecilia Velázquez is a senior researcher at the Center for Distributive, Labor and Social Studies (CEDLAS) at the National University of La Plata (UNLP), and at the Center for Population Studies (CENEP) in Argentina. She is also an affiliated researcher at the Center for Economic Research (CINVE) in Uruguay. She holds a PhD, an MA, and a BA in Economics (UNLP and UDELAR). She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses at UNLP. Her research focuses on demography and public policy, with an emphasis on fertility, adolescence, disability, and gender inequalities.
