Emmanuel Vazquez

Researcher

Senior Researcher at the Center for Distributive, Labor and Social Studies (CEDLAS) of the National University of La Plata (UNLP). Vazquez holds a B.A., a M.Sc. and a Ph.D. in Economics from the National University of La Plata and a M.A. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He is currently a graduate and postgraduate professor at the UNLP and a categorized researcher of this institution. His research on education and labor market issues has been published in national and international academic journals. He has been a consultant to numerous institutions such as the World Bank, the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), the Andean Development Corporation (CAF) and the Inter-American Development Bank. Vazquez has won several awards, including honors from the UNLP to its best undergraduate and graduate alumni, and from the Argentine Association of Political Economy (AAEP) in the context of the Young Researcher Award.
