María Florencia Pinto

María Florencia Pinto is a senior researcher at the Center for Distributional, Labor, and Social Studies (CEDLAS) at Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP), and a professor at UNLP. She holds a B.A. and a M.A. from UNLP and a Ph.D. from the Paris School of Economics (France). She has worked at the World Bank in the Human Development and the Chief Economist Office for South Asia, and has worked as a consultant for the IADB and the World Bank in several projects related to gender. Her research interests are in gender economics, labor economics, and the economics of education.
