Mariana Viollaz

Researcher

Mariana Viollaz is a senior researcher at the Center for Distributive, Labor and Social Studies (CEDLAS) of Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP). She received her B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. in Economics from UNLP and has been a postdoctoral fellow at the ILR School of Cornell University (USA). Her research is focused on Labor economics, Development economics, and Gender economics, and has been published by Oxford University Press, by journals such as the Journal of Development Economics, Journal of Development Studies, Review of Economics of the Household, Journal of Economic Inequality, among others, and by institutional working paper series such as the World Bank Policy Research Working Paper Series, WIDER Working Papers, IZA Discussion Papers, and CEDLAS Working Papers.
