“Polarización del ingreso en la Argentina: teoría y aplicación de la polarización pura del ingreso”.

This paper applies a new methodology by Duclos-Esteban-Ray (2003) to calculate income polarization in Argentina for the period 1998-2002. The results show that even though income inequality grew slowly during this timeframe, polarization increased every year and for all regions. The poorest population contributed most to this rise.
