“Comercio y desigualdad salarial en Argentina: un enfoque de equilibrio general computado”.

This paper uses a Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) model to analyze the effect of trade openness on the wages of skilled workers with respect to unskilled workers in Argentina. The findings indicate that trade explains a low proportion (approximately 3%) of the increase in wage inequality. Additionally, the study presents a methodology which may be employed to carry out decomposition exercises with CGE models.
